The sun was out and the north-west wind was moderate (force 4) to start with. So we had a good hour-and-a-half sail in Start Bay. At Start Point the wind strengthened (low end of force 5), and was no longer advantageous, so we motor-sailed the remaining way to Plymouth – arriving at the breakwater 1900.
